This is the case of La Caleta, a sandy area located in the municipality of Villajoyosa which, as well as being very quiet, is quite beautiful.
Would you like to discover all the details of this beach in Alicante? Then we recommend you to pay close attention to what we tell you below!
A beautiful spot
If there is one thing that makes La Caleta beach stand out, it is because it offers a peaceful atmosphere that is difficult to find in other parts of Alicante during the summer. Despite being a beautiful place, it is not usually crowded, something that has to do with the fact that it is far from the urban area.
Calm, crystal-clear waters
Apart from being a very quiet beach, La Caleta stands out for being one of the most beautiful beaches in the province of Alicante, offering wonderful crystal clear and relaxed waters. In fact, its waters are ideal for the little ones at home, making it a perfect cove to spend a day with the family. However, you should be aware that there is a steep slope in the access to the water.
Composed of stones
The beach is not too big (about 160 metres long and 30 metres wide), but it won’t be difficult to find a place to spread out your towel. However, in high season it is best not to come too late. One of the advantages of La Caleta is that it is easily accessible. There is also a car park nearby. However, bear in mind that it is a pebble beach, so it is advisable to wear special footwear for swimming.
