Girona is one of the best examples of the Mediterranean coast, and its beaches are the best representatives of the magnificent natural landscape between the sea and the mountains that characterises the Costa Brava.
This is precisely where you will find one of the most beautiful beaches in the Catalan province, Cala del Senyor Ramón. With a name as friendly and familiar as this, you can already imagine that you will find here a totally welcoming environment in which to spend a few perfect days of holiday. However, little is known about this Ramón.
The beauty of this cove lies especially in its almost virgin nature, which despite being known and visited by many tourists every summer is in an unequalled condition. La Cala del Senyor Ramón has 800 metres of coarse golden sand bathed by beautiful turquoise waters, all surrounded by the green Mediterranean nature of cliffs dotted with pine trees and bushes that isolate this beach so that its charm cannot be spoiled by the greed of the builders of the coast.
So, you can lie down for hours and enjoy the sun, the soft and warm Mediterranean breeze on your body or soak in the cool waters of the Costa Brava without anything getting in the way of your moment of relaxation.
To get to this beach between Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Tossa de Mar, look for kilometre 34 of Sant Feliu and follow the signs that will take you to the dirt track. But prepare your wallet because this is a private beach and, at the very least, you will have to pay a toll to enter. It’s the price to pay for enjoying beaches like this one, what can you do!
