The last beach in the Basque Country
La Arena beach, located between Muskiz and Zierbena, is considered to be the last beach in the Basque Country on its western edge. Ideal for water sports, it is also an ideal sandy area for strolling and, above all, for discovering the impressive changes in the sand. The landscape changes radically.
Ideal for surfing and other sports
As we mentioned earlier, it is a beach frequented by surfers. In fact, there are surfing lessons on the east side of the beach. However, it is important to be careful with the strong currents in certain areas of the beach. On the other hand, you should know that on the beach you can also enjoy numerous activities in addition to surfing: windsurfing, boogie boarding, canoeing, volleyball, kites, beach football, open-air concerts, horse racing.
A beach full of services
Before leaving you with the photos of La Arena, we would like to comment that the beach is full of services, with a recreational area, toilets, showers, fountains, sports facilities, children’s facilities, litter bins, car park, lifeguard and security services, changing rooms… Below we leave you with our gallery, where you will find more images of this beach in Vizcaya.
