Yesterday we told you about one of our favourite coves in Menorca, Cala en Brut, ideal for the more adventurous and also for those who don’t like sand. Today we also want to show you one of our favourite coves in another of the beautiful islands of our country. It is Cala Conta, in Ibiza.
Ibiza is undoubtedly one of the favourite destinations for young people, due to the countless places to party, enjoy a good atmosphere and meet new people. However, this Balearic island is also the ideal place for anyone looking for paradisiacal beaches where they can relax, sunbathe and take a refreshing dip. Cala Conta is one of those corners of Ibiza that can offer you all this, as well as a wonderful sunset.
Cala Conta, located in San José, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza. It has a beautiful landscape of rocks and sand that contrasts incredibly with its transparent waters of a beautiful turquoise blue colour. However, the greatest charm of this place are its sunsets, some of the most colourful and beautiful on the island.
The beach is surrounded by two rocky sides and at the end there is a small cove that can be reached by steps carved into the rock. Here you will find bathers who practise nudism, as it is much quieter than the open beach.
One of the characteristics of this beach is that it is easily accessible by car. You can park on an esplanade just before going down to the coves. In addition, you can enjoy a restaurant with incredible views and several beach bars where sometimes they play live music.
