If you have been lucky enough to have travelled to Ibiza you will have been able to see for yourself that the best thing about the island is not its nightlife, but its spectacular coastline, where you can find dream beaches. In some of them you can even take mud baths, a practice which, according to some beliefs, is fantastic for relieving a wide variety of ailments.

One of the beaches in Ibiza where you can enjoy a mud bath is Es Bol Nou, a beach that is also known as Sa Caleta. Would you like to discover it? Well, all you have to do is come with us!

Spectacular scenery

Es Bol Bou beach is located in the south of Ibiza, in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia. It is a small cove about 100 metres long that in high season is usually packed with people. Despite its popularity, however, it is well worth a visit, as the scenery here is spectacular. In addition, you will be able to enjoy clean, crystal-clear waters.

Mud baths

If Es Bol Nou is known for anything, it is because here you can take the famous mud baths. All you have to do is soak the red clay and spread it over your skin. Afterwards, you have to let it dry. To remove it, all you have to do is dive into its fantastic waters, where it is also a good idea to go diving or snorkelling.

Before leaving you with the photos of Sa Caleta, we would like to mention that here you can find a beach bar, a dress shop and even a massage area. As if these were not enough attractions, very close by are the remains of the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta.
