Raco-sAlga
If you are looking for a beach and relaxation destination where you can enjoy your holidays, Formentera is the place for you. The smallest island of the Balearic Islands hides small paradises of sand, water and dream landscapes where you can lose yourself for a few days. Today we take a virtual tour of five of its most paradisiacal beaches.

1. S’Alga beach

A virgin and paradisiacal beach of white sand and crystal clear water. It can only be reached by boat. There is a regular line from the island of Espalmador that allows access to this beautiful place in Formentera, where it is possible to take long and comforting walks.

2. Tanga Beach

It is located in the northern part of the island. It is one of the most visited beaches, but as it is quite large it allows access to more secluded and quiet areas where you can escape from the more touristy atmosphere. It is close to the beach of Illetes and from here it is possible to walk along the beaches of the northern area and thus get to know one of the most beautiful areas of the island.

3. Saona Cove

A small beach where you will find a haven of relaxation and beauty that is unique on the island. It has incredible views of Ibiza, the coastline of Punta Pedrera and the cliffs of Punta Rasa. Its sunset is also impressive.

4. CalĂł d’Es Mort

Another small cove located on the way up to La Mola. Here we find an oasis of tranquillity where it is possible to isolate yourself from the rest of the world. It is 70 metres long and from here you can go on very special excursions and walks. It is surrounded by a wonderful natural landscape.

5. Es Cavall d’En Borras

This beach is located between Cala Savina and Platgeta des Carregador. It is of medium size and has a slope of fine white sand. With hardly any waves, it forms part of the Ses Salines Natural Area of Special Interest.
