Calo des mort a beautiful naturist spot in formentera

Calo des Mort2
Thanks to the filtering work carried out by the posidonia meadows, Formentera, the smallest of the Pitiusas, can boast totally clean and crystalline waters. Moreover, it is the only one of the four islands of the archipelago that can only be reached by boat from the port of Ibiza, 40 minutes away.

One of the best places to enjoy its beautiful waters is CalĂł des Mort, a jetty that over the years has become a naturist area. Would you like to know more about this incredible beach in Formentera? Then don’t miss out on the following!

Virtually unspoilt

As you can see for yourself in the photographs, it is a practically virgin cove in the shape of a half moon, characterised by its small size and rocky slope, crystal-clear waters and escars, which are the traditional dry docks for small boats.

Calo des Mort3

An ideal place for bathing, swimming and snorkelling.

CalĂł des Mort is located between Platja des Migjorn and es Ram, a setting where you can enjoy incredible views. It is a perfect beach both for those who want to swim and for those who prefer to take a simple dip, as the seabed is sandy and gently sloping. It is also perfect for diving. However, as we have already mentioned, nudism is a widespread practice in this paradisiacal corner of paradise, as it is on other beaches on the island.

Full of tourists

The only bad thing about this beautiful beach, apart from its difficult access, is that many people are attracted to the place, so you will have to get up early and go early to find this beach deserted. If you don’t, you may not find room to stay in this little corner of paradise.

Here we leave you with some beautiful pictures of CalĂł des Mort.
