Ibiza is an explosive contrast of non-stop partying 24 hours a day with magnificent beaches that seem to be taken from our best dreams, and although many tourists come to this Balearic island in search of great nightclubs and music bars, many others do so in order to discover each of its natural corners.
We have already told you about some of its most popular and popular beaches and we have also discovered some of its most peaceful and isolated coves, and today we would like to bring you to one of the most charming beaches in our opinion: Cala Salada, a tiny cove just 100 metres long and surrounded by a natural environment of pine trees and rocky hills that gracefully slope into the sea. All this combined with the comfort of soft golden sand and beautiful turquoise waters make this tiny bay a dream for anyone who comes to the island in search of a much needed disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
Given its size, this beach is not usually very crowded, which makes it even more charming. However, although it is certainly not one of Ibiza’s tourist centres, you can still have a refreshing drink or enjoy Mediterranean dishes in the popular restaurant located just a few metres from the beach.
If you are one of those who can’t bear to spend all day toasting in the sun, take the opportunity to enjoy a day of snorkelling, to visit the popular cave of Ses Fontanalles or to stroll along the cliffs and discover some of the beautiful little coves nearby.
Cala Salada is located in Sant Antoni de Portmany and is accessible both by land (the car will not take you to the beach, where you will have to walk) and by sea for the lucky ones who enjoy their private boats.
