A very popular beach
As we were saying, Cala Rovira is located in Platja d’Aro, a town in Baix EmpordĂ . Specifically, the beach is located in an urbanised area that is usually full of tourists during the summer. However, despite the high level of occupation, this beautiful beach of fine golden sand is well worth a visit.
Characteristics of the beach
Awarded the Blue Flag for the quality of its services and waters, the beach is just over 200 metres long and about 35 metres wide. The cove is flanked by two rock formations and is dotted with rocks and surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. Behind one of these formations is Sa Cova beach, which is also worth a visit.
All kinds of services
Cala Rovira has all kinds of services, including lifeguards, first aid, toilets, showers, children’s area and ramp for people with reduced mobility.
