If we finished last week talking about the best unspoilt beaches in Spain, we would like to start this one by showing you a cove that, although it is not present in this list of untouched beaches, it could be without any doubt. This is Cala Reona, where you can enjoy the Murcian Cancun.
Although it may seem unbelievable when you see the pictures, the truth is that this beach is located next to the sleeve. The best thing about it is that it is practically untouched, except for a small chill out area that offers parties, fun and delicious cocktails from the afternoon until the early hours of the morning. Do you want to know more details about Cala Reona? Then stay tuned!
A virgin beach with few people
Cala Reona is a small beach located near the entrance to La Manga del Mar Menor. It is also one of the coves at the beginning of the Calblanque Natural Park. As we have already mentioned, it is an unspoilt beach with few people, which makes it even more attractive as it has very calm and transparent waters. However, you have to be careful because in some areas there are some treacherous rocks.
Famous for its waterfalls
The beach has about 200 metres of sand and black pebbles, due to the erosion of the slate mountains that surround the area. In addition to its crystal-clear waters, Cala Reona is known for its waterfalls.
One of the most important reserves in the Mediterranean
If all of the above is not enough for you, you should know that the seabed that surrounds the area is one of the most important reserves in the Mediterranean.
It also has a bus stop and parking facilities, among other services, such as toilets and drinking water.
