Although on this website we are in love with the entire coastline of our country, which, as we have told you on numerous occasions, has nothing to envy from other countries in the world, we have to admit that we feel a predilection for the Costa Brava which, bathed by the Mediterranean, surprises with its stunning scenery, stretching from Blanes (Girona) to the French border; for its beautiful fishing villages and for its exquisite gastronomy.
Today we are going to this Catalan corner to discover a beautiful beach in Tossa de Mar. If you’d like to discover Cala Pola, all you have to do is come with us!
Spectacular beaches
Cala Pola is very close to the centre of Tossa de Mar (about 4 kilometres). Specifically, it is located between Cala Bona and Cala Giverola, two well-known beaches in the area. In fact, the entire road that connects Tossa with Sant Feliu de GuĂxols is full of spectacular coves.
Next to a campsite
It is important to note that next to the beach there is a campsite with the same name. However, the beach is not private. Apart from a couple of buildings belonging to the campsite, the cove has no other buildings, so it maintains its natural character practically intact.
A beach with a host of services
In Cala Pola you will find services such as showers, restaurant, beach bar and even a small supermarket, as well as all the amenities that campsites usually have. Furthermore, from the beach you can go on an excursion in a small boat, which will take you to see the seabed and the beautiful coves around. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of Cala Pola. Don’t miss it!
