Would you like to join us in Menorca? Today we are moving to this marvellous Mediterranean island to discover one of its best beaches. We are referring to Cala Morell, a small bay located 7 kilometres from Ciudadela.
As you can see for yourself by taking a look at the images we show you in our gallery, the beach has a peculiar landscape attraction. Would you like to discover all the details about this cove in Menorca? Then you can’t miss what we tell you below!
Concrete platforms
Located in the north of the island, Cala Morell consists of a small sandy beach surrounded by cliffs that attract tremendous attention. However, there are many who choose to sunbathe and swim from the concrete platforms situated around the bay.
Tremendously crystalline waters
Like the vast majority of beaches in Minorca, the waters of Cala Morell are crystal clear and, in fact, the seabed can be clearly distinguished. For this reason, both diving and snorkelling are highly recommended activities. However, what is essential if you have the chance to visit this cove is to visit the Talayotic Necropolis of Cala Morell, a fascinating set of prehistoric caves that are also open to the public.
An urbanised cove
Before leaving you with the photos of Cala Morell, we would like to comment that the area is very built-up and, in fact, it is possible to find all kinds of services here. Below we leave you with our gallery, where you will find more images of this interesting beach in Menorca. Don’t miss it!
