After looking at some beautiful pictures of Spanish beaches, we’ve been left wanting to know more about some of the most amazing beaches in our geography. That’s why today we’re going to Mallorca to discover one of the most popular nudist beaches on the island.

We are talking about Cala Mesquida, a wonderful beach of fine white sand and crystal-clear waters located in Capdepera, specifically in the urbanisation that bears the beach’s name. Would you like to know more about this wonderful Mallorcan beach? Well, don’t miss out on what we tell you below!

A virgin and nudist beach

Cala Mesquida is a beautiful beach with turquoise waters surrounded by dunes and pine groves that remains fairly unspoilt. It does, however, have a high level of occupation due to its location in a tourist centre. Undoubtedly, what is most striking about the beach are its dunes, which are well preserved and are always parallel to the direction of the wind. In fact, it was declared a Natural Area of Special Interest by the Parliament of the Balearic Islands in the early 1990s.

Good services

As if its beauty were not enough, the beach boasts good services, including sun lounger, parasol and boat hire, maintenance and the Red Cross.

A place of smuggling

As a curiosity, Cala Mesquida was one of the favourite spots for tobacco and coffee smugglers. So much so that a Civil Guard barracks was built here, now in ruins. We leave you with our gallery below, where you can discover some beautiful images of Cala Mesquida. Don’t miss them!
