All the magic of the Costa Brava
Tossa de Mar hides many beaches and coves that are well worth a visit. One of them is Cala de la Mar Menuda, also known as Cala Menuda, a small enclave that concentrates all the magic of the Costa Brava. Here you will find coarse sand and crystal-clear, shallow waters that are perfect for the youngest members of the family. The beach also has a range of services: beach bars, showers…
A perfect place to relax and dive.
Despite being a rather small beach (hence its name), Cala Menuda is also one of the most beautiful in the whole town. Although it is undoubtedly the perfect place to relax, it is also the ideal setting for a variety of water sports. Snorkelling and scuba diving deserve a special mention, as the seabed here is extremely rich. Of course, they are quite protected.
A beach with a legend
Legend has it that the beach was formed when, on reaching the coast after suffering a tremendous storm, Sant Ramon de Penyafort separated the rocks and created a small cove with calm waters, as well as performing many other miracles.
