Unfortunately, summer has come to an end, so most of us will have to wait until next year to enjoy our beaches, at least in the way we like best, that is, sunbathing and taking a dip.
Many of us are already counting the days to visit beaches such as Cala Giverola, one of the best beaches in Catalonia. Located in the beautiful town of Tossa de Mar, it offers crystal-clear waters and a unique natural environment. Would you like to discover more details about this beautiful beach? Then you can’t miss what we’ll tell you below!
A sheltered beach
Shaped like a horseshoe, Cala Giverola is sheltered by rocky formations, with the Punta de S’Aguilera and Punta Giverola standing out. Its waters are crystal clear and its sand is pink in colour, creating a beautiful contrast with the green of the pine trees.
Away from the urban centres but with many services.
Although the beach is far from the urban centres, it is true that a hotel complex can be found here, as well as showers, a beach bar, a car park and a rental stall for different types of boats, which detracts a little from its charm. Moreover, as it is an easily accessible beach, it tends to be quite crowded in summer. Even so, it is still one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Brava.
Other beautiful beaches
Although it belongs to Tossa de Mar, Cala Giverola is located on the stretch of coastline between this Catalan town and San Feliu de Guíxols, where you will also find other beautiful beaches, such as Cala del Senyor Ramón. Below we leave you with our gallery, where you will find more images of this beautiful Catalan beach. Don’t miss it!
