If you’re planning a trip to Menorca, then you’d better find out which are the best beaches on the island! You already know that, without a doubt, the main attraction of this place is its coastline.
Today on this website we want to tell you about Cala en Porter, a beach that does not usually appear on lists of the best beaches and coves in Minorca but which, on the other hand, is worth visiting both for its natural surroundings and for being located near one of the island’s main points of interest: the Cova d’en Xoroi. Would you like to find out more about this place? Then you’d better not miss anything of what we tell you below!
A small cove between large cliffs
Cala en Porter is a small cove located in the south of Menorca. It is located between large cliffs with abundant vegetation and offers white sand and crystal-clear waters.
All kinds of services and facilities
You should bear in mind that it is located in a residential area, so it is not as unspoilt as other beaches on the island. In addition, in high season it tends to be crowded. However, here you will find all kinds of services and facilities. You should also bear in mind that access is fairly easy. In fact, there is a car park just a few metres from the sand.
The Cova d’en Xoroi
As we mentioned before, one of the attractions of this beach is that it is very close to the Cova d’en Xoroi, a cave located on a cliff with terraces and viewpoints at different heights. During the day it is a music bar and at night a discotheque. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of this Menorcan beach. Don’t miss it!
