Cala en forcat one of the smallest beaches in menorca

Cala en Forcat7
Since we started the week by telling you about the largest beach in Menorca, what do you think if we finish it by showing you one of the smallest coves? This is Cala en Forcat, a small sandy area where you can relax either on the sand or on one of the polished rock platforms that surround the place.

Located between the Cala en Blanes and Los Delfines urbanisations, it is only about ten metres long and twelve metres wide. Would you like to know more about this small beach in Menorca? Then pay close attention to what we are going to tell you next!

Some negative aspects

As is often the case in many of the small coves in the area, Cala en Forcat does not have a lifeguard service, showers or restaurants. Another negative aspect is that it is a fairly busy beach due to its proximity to a large hotel.

The best of the beach

The good thing is that as the beach is shallow and quite narrow, it is sheltered from bad weather and hardly ever suffers from waves, making it ideal for bathing and as a refuge from boats. The best thing about this beach is that it is ideal for water activities such as snorkelling and scuba diving.

Less recommended than others

As you can see for yourself by taking a look at this website, Menorca has better quality beaches and coves, so if you only have a few days to visit the island, we recommend you to go to other places first: Cala Macarelleta, Cala Pregonda, Cala Pilar…

Next we leave you with our gallery, where we have included some beautiful pictures of Cala en Forcat. Don’t miss them!
