Cala de enmedio a secluded beach at cabo de gata

Cala de Enmedio Cabo de Gata
The Cabo de Gata area becomes one of the main tourist destinations when summer arrives. And the truth is that it is not surprising because this natural park is home to some 50 coves of immense beauty. However, in high season most of them are full of cars and people, making it difficult to enjoy this unique environment to the full.

That’s why today we want to tell you about one of the most secluded beaches of Cabo de Gata. In fact, you won’t be able to reach it by car. We are referring to the Cala de Enmedio. Would you like to know it? Then come with us!

A privileged environment

Fortunately, Cala de Enmedio is a beach unknown to mass tourism. With a length of 150 metres, this beach of fine golden sand is surrounded by cliffs and white stone ledges formed by the erosion of the wind and waves, and waters of a beautiful blue ranging from turquoise to bottle green.

An isolated and unspoilt beach

The best thing about this beach is that, thanks to its isolation (you have to walk about half an hour from Agua Amarga to get here), it has remained completely unspoilt. So don’t expect to find any kind of service here. There are not even litter bins, so you will have to help to keep the cove clean and in good condition.

Absolute tranquillity

Cala de Enmedio is a nudist beach, although you will have no problem if you decide to wear a swimming costume. On the other hand, you should bear in mind that it is an ideal place for diving and snorkelling, so don’t forget your diving goggles. The best thing about this place is that you can enjoy absolute tranquillity, especially out of season. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of Cala de Enmedio, so don’t miss it!
