Considered one of the quietest beaches in Ibiza, Cala Codolar is perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the island of Ibiza without giving up relaxation, even in the middle of August. It is located to the west of the island, some 7 kilometres from San José, and is very popular with families.
Would you like to find out more about Cala Codolar? Then you can’t miss out on the following!
A beautiful beach without crowds
Made up of sand and stones (it is advisable to wear water shoes), this small cove is 70 metres long and 40 metres wide and stands out for the intense turquoise colour of its waters and the rocky cliffs that act as a backdrop. As you can see for yourself in the images in the gallery, it is a tremendously beautiful beach, with the advantage that it is not usually crowded.
Chiringuito with affordable prices
The beach has a beach bar that offers the possibility of renting sun loungers or umbrellas, very useful elements considering that in Cala Cadolar there are no shaded areas. Here you can eat hot dogs and hamburgers at quite affordable prices. If you want something more sophisticated to eat, you will find it upstairs.
Lack of services
Apart from the beach bar, the beach lacks services, although it has the advantage of having a fairly easy access. For this reason, many families come here with their children. It is also important to bear in mind that, thanks to the fact that it is located in an inlet, it is protected from the wind and waves. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of this beautiful and peaceful beach in Ibiza. Don’t miss it!
