On this website we have talked a lot about Lloret de Mar which, despite being the most touristy town on the Costa Brava, is full of coves that are well worth a visit. One of them is Cala Canyelles, the most northerly cove in the town and the only one with a marina.

A beautiful beach but full of services
Cala Canyelles is a beach surrounded by an idyllic natural environment. But don’t think that it is a virgin sandy area, as it has plenty of services and facilities. In the immediate vicinity, for example, you will find numerous accommodation facilities. In addition, there is no shortage of sports facilities, showers, toilets, restaurants, beach bars, beach umbrellas and sun loungers for hire, security service, first aid, car park…
On the other hand, it is important to bear in mind that access to the beach is adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Divided into two areas
As you can see for yourself by taking a look at the images in our gallery, the beach is divided into two different areas. On the right is the harbour and facilities such as a children’s playground and a restaurant. On the left is a rocky area with hidden corners.
Ideal for snorkelling.
Cala Canyelles is undoubtedly an ideal place for snorkelling and underwater fishing, among other water activities. Moreover, as we mentioned at the beginning, it is home to the only marina in the municipality, where you can find sports boats.
