Mallorca’s coastline is full of coves and beaches that are worth visiting, with sandy beaches to suit all tastes: fine sand, rocky, hidden, full of services… That’s why it’s no wonder that it’s one of the favourite destinations for tourists from all over Europe.
Today we are taking you to this Balearic island to discover one of its best beaches. It is Cala Agulla, an emblematic cove that is 520 metres long and 60 metres wide. Would you like to discover more details? Then we recommend you not to miss anything we are going to tell you below!
A tremendously beautiful beach
Considered one of the most emblematic beaches in Mallorca, Cala Agulla is surprisingly beautiful. We are talking about a sandy area surrounded by pine trees and mountains, which offers crystal clear waters of clear blue tones and fine-textured white sand. And although it is very busy during the high season, it is a very clean beach.
Ideal for sports
Located in the municipality of Capdepera, some 80 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca, this cove is ideal for practising different water sports. You can also go hiking, mountain biking and horse riding in the surrounding mountains.
A host of services
Despite its beauty, this beach offers a large number of services, including public car park, bar, restaurant, sun loungers, parasols, lifeguard… Finally, we would like to mention that just 50 metres from Cala Agulla is Cala MoltĂł, another corner of the island that is well worth a visit. However, you should bear in mind that it is smaller and quieter. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of this beach located in Majorca. Don’t miss it!
