Ideal for surf lovers

One of the main characteristics of Bollullo beach is that it has fine black volcanic sand, although it is true that this is a fairly common peculiarity in Tenerife and the rest of the Canary Islands. Although it is suitable for bathing, it generally has large waves, which makes it ideal for surf lovers. However, if you want to take a dip, remember to always do so close to the foam and if the flag allows it.

Virtually unspoilt

Bollullo is 400 metres long and, as you can see in the images in the gallery, it is not surrounded by buildings. In fact, there is only a small beach bar on the sand and some bars on the top of the cliff. Therefore, we can speak of a practically virgin beach.

The sanctuary with crosses

One of the peculiarities of this beach is that on the path leading to the sand there is a small sanctuary where wooden crosses have been placed, made of wood extracted from the tarajales that populate the area. Here we leave you with our gallery, where we offer you more beautiful images of Bollullo. Don’t miss it!
