Binigaus a menorcan beach to relax in menorca

Binigaus
Binigaus, in Menorca, is one of the most recommended beaches when it comes to enjoying a quiet day on the island. Located 7 kilometres from Es Migjorn Gran, it has earned the label of naturist and family beach, as you can bathe in complete safety, entering the water gradually, without a hitch.

Natural beauty

Its cliffs, although somewhat secluded, complete a picture postcard picture that gains in importance at sunrise and sunset, especially when the shades of yellow take over the horizon to create a mesmerising image.

Easy parking

This jewel of nature is a perfect refuge to relax and forget about everything. They rent sunbeds and umbrellas in Santo TomĂĄs, which is the beach where you will have to park if you go by car (there are two large free car parks). It’s also close to Es Brunch, a beach bar where you can enjoy fish dishes that are not bad at all.

Slightly overcrowded in August

Turquoise waters, fine sand, wild nature… Binigaus is an open beach that is no longer a secret hideaway for bathers in the area. In August it is difficult to find a spot at certain times of the day, but out of season it is a place that oozes peace and quiet. In case of overbooking, a good option is to go to Cala Escorxada, which is about 1,500 kilometres away and tends to be emptier.

The 800 metres you have to walk to get there from Santo TomĂĄs beach are not a problem. When you’re about to finish the walk you’ll notice a series of rocks where there may be people practising nudism. You only have to walk a little further to see the largest part of the beach.
