AlmerĂa is a province with a surprising natural environment, characterised by its combination of sea and desert, and by one of the most fertile orchards in Europe.

With a coastline of 200 kilometres of beaches bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, Almeria offers beaches to suit all tastes. Today we want to tell you about one of the best. We’re referring to Aguadulce Beach, located in Roquetas de Mar. Would you like to discover it? Well, now you know what you have to do! Don’t miss anything we’re going to tell you below!

Calm and crystalline waters

Aguadulce beach, which stretches for 2,500 metres, is one of the most frequented beaches in Almeria, which is not at all surprising, as it offers calm, crystal-clear waters that have enabled it to receive the Blue Flag, a distinction awarded by the European Union.

A wide range of services

As you would expect from an urban beach, it offers all kinds of services, such as Red Cross posts, rescue service, toilets, showers, beach umbrellas and sun loungers for rent. It also has access for people with reduced mobility.

One of the things we like most about this beach is its promenade that stretches along the entire beach and is home to a large number of restaurants where you can enjoy the typical food of the province, bars, ice-cream parlours and souvenir shops.

A long bathing season

Before leaving you with the photos of Aguadulce, we would like to comment that the water temperature of this beach ensures a longer bathing season than in other parts of Spain. Here we leave you with our gallery, where you will find more images of this beach located in Almeria. Don’t miss it!
