Which spanish beach should i go to on holiday?

playa-de-Muro
This is the question many Spaniards ask themselves every year. They know that it is not necessary to go far away to enjoy incredible beaches, so they decide to choose a coastal region of the Iberian Peninsula to spend their holidays.

In this article I propose five beaches in completely different places that you are going to love. Depending on what you’re looking for, choose one or the other. Whichever one you choose, you’ll be right.

Bolonia Beach (Tarifa, Cadiz)

playa-de-BoloniaIn a place as beautiful as Tarifa, in Cadiz, you have the chance to take a dip in the clean, crystal-clear waters that merge with the dunes just a few metres from the shore. From the highest dune you will be able to see Africa, something that without a doubt tends to attract the attention of tourists. It is one of the last unspoilt beaches in southern Spain and its natural beauty will leave you open-mouthed.

Cala Ámbolo beach (Jåvea, Alicante)

playa-de-Cala-AmboloThe people of Alicante can boast several beaches, Cala Ámbolo being one of them. It is in the tourist town of Jåvea and is named after a 16th century tower that was used to watch out for pirates trying to plunder the town. Its waters are crystal clear and the surroundings are marvellous. However, there is not much space to place your towel, so you will have to get up early if you want to place it without problems in months like July and August.

Beach of Muro (Majorca, Balearic Islands)

playa-de-MuroThere are dozens of spectacular beaches in the Balearic Islands. One of them is Playa de Muro, which stands out for the turquoise colour of its waters and the white of its sand. There are all kinds of services and it is ideal for families. It is in Alcudia, a very touristy and quiet area where you will find four and five-star hotels where you can stay with the greatest comfort in the world.

Torimbia Beach (Llanes, Asturias)

playa-de-TorimbiaThe inhabitants of Llanes know they have a treasure called Torimbia. It is of incalculable natural beauty, and it is also one of the most appreciated by nudists. It is in the Protected Landscape of the Eastern Coast of Asturias, so it should come as no surprise that it is an unspoilt beach that offers you the chance to take a pleasant stroll with the soles of your feet on its delicate golden sand.

Langre Beach (RibamontĂĄn al Mar, Cantabria)

playa-de-LangreNear Llanes, in RibamontĂĄn al Mar, you have another jewel of nature that could be defined as wild and surfing. It is a beach surrounded by meadows and located on an impressive 25-metre-high hemicycle. The only drawback is that the swell can be quite choppy. On the other hand, it is a perfect place to disconnect.
