The Costa Brava is undoubtedly one of the best places for sun and beach tourism in Spain, and in any of its towns you will find a great atmosphere (whether family or youthful and partying) along with magnificent beaches with crystal-clear water.
Although it is not exactly a place to relax, the town of Lloret de Mar is one of those that can offer us beautiful Mediterranean beaches that are visited every summer by thousands of tourists from all over the world.
Its splendid summer climate, golden sand, crystal clear waters of excellent quality and a Mediterranean environment in which an immense city is integrated have been responsible for the fact that nowadays it is one of the most popular places for tourists, making the beach overcrowded.
However, it is also true that not all of Lloret’s beaches have the same characteristics or are equally crowded.
The most popular and touristy beaches are possibly those of Santa Cristina, Fenals and Platja de Lloret, urban and central beaches that are surrounded by promenades full of buildings with bars, restaurants, discotheques or shops, for example.
However, if you get tired of these areas and need to get away from the hustle and bustle, you can also visit other magnificent and quiet coves close to the previous ones. On beaches such as Treumal, Sa Caleta, La Tortuga, La Boadella, Cala Banys or Cala dels Frares you will enjoy much more the excellent natural conditions of the beach environment and the green and dense vegetation in a relaxing atmosphere that we assure you will be necessary after a couple of days in the most central places of the area.
Lloret de Mar has an incredible hotel infrastructure, so you will always be able to find a hotel, hostel, campsite or flat at your disposal. Are you up for it?
