The four most recommended beaches in murcia

In the Region of Murcia, where the sun shines for more than 3,000 hours a year, we can enjoy the Costa Cálida, bathed by two seas of warm waters, with everything from long beaches to small coves. Of course, on the Murcian coastline you can also find numerous leisure, sports and wellness options.

Today we are taking you to this Spanish autonomous community to recommend four of its best beaches. We apologise in advance for all those we have left out. Would you like to join us?

Calblanque Beach

CalblanqueFirst of all, we would like to talk about Calblanque Beach, which is located in the Calblanque Regional Park, a natural area that is almost untouched. It is a beach of great scenic value, with golden and ochre sands, fossil dunes, white salt flats and mountainous massifs.

Sea of Glass

Mar-de-CristalWe would also like to tell you about Mar de Cristal Beach, an urban beach with a pleasant promenade. It is an ideal beach for families, among other things because it offers a good level of services, including sun loungers and parasols for rent, and showers.

Cortina Cove

Cala-CortinaIn Cartagena we find Cala Cortina, which is very close to the port and the Santa Lucía neighbourhood. It is an artificial sandy beach ideal for fishing and diving. Special mention should be made of the viewpoint, which offers spectacular views of the cove. Here you will also find a good level of services.

Beach of Los Cocedores

CocedoresFinally, we would like to talk about Los Cocedores Beach, which is located on the border between Almería and Murcia. Specifically, it is located between Pulpí and Aguilas. Shaped like a horseshoe, it is so called because at the beginning of the 20th century it was home to a natural esparto grass cooker.
