The beaches of the Costa Brava are, without a doubt, among the best on the Spanish coast. If you have been lucky enough to visit this part of Catalonia, you will know that we are absolutely right. Today we would like to tell you about one of the most beautiful. This is Sa Conca beach, located in the S’Agaró residential area.
If you want to know more about this beautiful Catalan beach, then don’t miss out on the following!
A beach with excellent services
The extensive cove we are showing you today (400 metres long and 40 metres wide) is one of the favourites for the inhabitants of Platja d’Aro and for tourists, and the truth is that it is not surprising, as in addition to being beautiful, it has excellent services: beach bars, showers, toilets, beach umbrella and sun lounger rental, security service, car park…
Enormous scenic beauty
However, apart from the services, what we like most about this beach is its scenic beauty. We are talking about a cove with totally clean and crystalline waters, surrounded by a lush pine forest. As for the sand, it is golden and coarse. It is also important to bear in mind that the entrance is slightly sloping.
Divided into two zones
You should also know that the beach is divided into two areas: Cala de Sa Conca cove, the largest, and Cala dels Oriços cove, so called because of the presence of sea urchins. We leave you with our gallery below, where you will find more images of Cala de Sa Conca. Don’t miss it!
