Cala mitjana a beautiful virgin beach in menorca

Cala Mitjana
What do you think if we start the week (the first of June, by the way) by showing you one of the best beaches in the Balearic Islands? We are referring to Cala Mitjana, a small unspoilt cove located in the south of the island of Menorca.

Located just a 20-minute walk from Cala Galdana, this beautiful crescent-shaped beach is characterised by its beautiful blue waters, its fine sand and the green and rocky landscape that surrounds it. Would you like to know more about this beautiful Menorcan cove? Then pay close attention to what we are going to tell you next!

Spacious bathing area

Another of the characteristics of this beach is the spaciousness of the bathing area. Thanks to this, even if there are a lot of people, it is easy to find a spot to place your towel, even if it is quite far from the water. You should also bear in mind that an hour and a half before sunset, the beach is covered by shade due to the pine trees that surround it.

Jumps from the cliffs

On this beach, lovers of jumping from the rocks will enjoy themselves enormously, since on the left-hand side there is a cliff where you can jump into the sea with little danger. It is not as comfortable as Cala en Brut, but you will have just as much fun.

No beach bars but no caves.

You won’t find any beach bars on this beach, but there are refreshment, beer and fruit sellers passing by every now and then. You’ll also be able to get super cool sarongs at prices that, although not the cheapest, you’ll be able to bargain for. There are some natural caves close to the shore that will delight the little ones.
