Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful beaches in this coastal municipality is Cala del Cañuelo. Would you like to discover it? Then all you have to do is join us!
One of the most beautiful coves in Malaga.
As we were saying, today we would like to talk to you about Cala del Cañuelo, considered by many to be one of the most beautiful coves in the province of Malaga. It is the last beach in the Malaga municipality of Nerja, and therefore borders the province of Granada.
Ideal for diving
As you can see for yourself by taking a look at the images we show you in our gallery, this is a beach of great beauty. It is located in the heart of the natural park Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo, a place characterised by its steep cliffs. Here you will find sand and gravel, as well as completely crystalline waters, ideal for snorkelling or diving. In fact, here you will find orange coral, a species catalogued as vulnerable to extinction.
A secluded beach
Access to the beach is not very easy, although it adds to its charm by keeping it fairly isolated. In fact, it is not as crowded as other beaches in the area. However, it does have some services: showers, litter bins, cleaning service, car park, restaurant, bar… Below is our gallery, where you will find more images of this beach located in Malaga. Don’t miss it!
