Although Ibiza hides some of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches in Spain, you can also find urban beaches on the island that have all kinds of services and are also worth a visit, especially if you are looking for a livelier atmosphere.
One of the best urban beaches in Ibiza is Cala de San Vicente, located in San Juan Bautista, in other words, in the northern part of the island. Would you like to discover it in more depth? Well, all you have to do is come with us!
A beach sheltered from the wind
La Cala de San Vicente is a long beach with calm, crystal-clear waters that is protected from the wind by mountains full of pine trees. Known as “Sa Cala” by the locals, the beach stands out for its views and, of course, for its promenade, where you can find hotels, restaurants, cafés and super markets. However, on both sides of the beach there are still two old jetties and traditional houses.
A very long beach
Because it is a very long beach, it is difficult to find crowds. However, if you plan to visit in high season and want to get a good spot to spread out your towel, then you should go early in the morning.
It still retains its charm
On this beautiful beach in Ibiza you can enjoy all kinds of services. In fact, as we have already mentioned, the place has some hotels and restaurants right on the beach. This was one of the first beaches in this part of the island to develop a tourist structure. And although the landscape has been modified, the place still has a lot of charm. Here we leave you with our gallery, where you will find more images of this well-known beach in Ibiza. Don’t miss it!
